Beautiful vs Sexy?

I was watching this advertisement (to make money) about this product where Venus was working with Olay on a product about shaving a person's legs. Of course, it showed a very attractive woman shaving her legs and a demonstration of how the product works. Later, the same woman was walking down the street and there were these men in suits that were looking at her. Strangely enough, one of the men dropped down simply to look at her legs. When does "Beautiful" cross the line and end up being "Sexy"?

I think there's a distinct difference between the two, because it's possible to be sexy without being beautiful. Also, just because a woman is beautiful, it doesn't necessarily follow that she's also sexy. I'm 60 and a grandmother, and I weigh about 20lbs more than I should. Even my mother, if she were alive, would never say I was beautiful, but I have had lots of men tell me that I'm sexy. Not so long ago, a guy less than half my age begged me to go out with him, because he said I was the sexiest woman he'd ever met. I don't send out signals that I'm on the prowl, because I'm married, yet strangers come up to me and ask for a date. Obviously I have something that calls out to them, but I can't describe it, because I don't even know what it is myself. That's the crunch of the matter really - sexy is subjective, while beauty is self-evident, at least on the outside.

As far as I know beautiful and sexy are often being tied together in a sentence. So lots of grey lines when talking about those 2 words. However, there's a particular term that I think the two words are separated and that's when a guy genuinely praises a lady that he's really interested in or even to his wife.
