"love your job but dont love your company because you may not know when your company stops loving"This may sounds little bit greedy but this wordings enlightens me,simply because we are doing the best that we can do but then, somehow no one appreciates.

Loving your company and your job will make your bosses become more richer. They give incentives, bonuses and etc. to let their employees stay and feel secure. But, reality they don't.

Business is always like that. They hire smart people to work for them and take care of them.Even the manager gets the incentives none of them get rich. They may have the latest car, a livable house and etc. but still they are in debt. And once they leave the company they get nothing. My father used to work in a Big company and he got the desired position that everyone wants but nothing happened when he retired. My advice is don't program your self to be employee for life. Don't work for the money cause you'll end up exhausted. Let the money work for you.

Only the one sitting on managerial position has all the benefits.Well, they can't blame those people whose doing all the hardwork and eventually leave them.

I can really relate with this one. I personally think anymore, there are a lot of people out there anymore who work for companies that are like this. No matter the amount of time you work there your job does not really seem to be guaranteed anymore. Companies are always having to cut back somewhere it seems, so even with many yrs of service they continue to cut medical and laying people off. Even people in management positions. So all a person can do is do their best and hope their job will always continue to be there.

Well, my husband has been at his job now for just over 27 yrs. so he has been there a long time, and works with someone who is getting close to working there now 40 yrs. so where he works, it does still happen.

Good for those people who works with an employer that knows how to value them.It may not be in terms of money, but some employer dont even know how to appreciate how these people work.A"GOOD MORNING WITH A SMILE" means a lot.

I don't agree with you on this one. I don't know how it is possible for one to love his job but not his company. When you think that you are giving your 100% but you are not because you have nothing in your heart for your company and may be you don't care where it goes.I think to be successful it really important to give your job and your company equal standards. Strive to make your company grow and you'll see hard work automatically follows in your job work.

I respect your view on this. You're lucky if you've found an ideal one.I just wanted to share the way we feel, working in a company where you do all the job while others just waiting for you to do all what is need to be done. The one sitting on a supervisory position is getting a good compensation with holidays off, whilst staff under him does not. He's getting all the credits for tasks well done even though he doesn't know anything about it.But still,we just have no choice but to do the work coz nobody will.

i appreciate your thoughts. Yes if you love your job, then you can give your best efforts to make it a successful outing. This indirectly means being a beneficiary for the company. So instead of being conscious about the company, we have to safeguard our job and be diligent towards our work.

you know sometimes we should see the opposite side also. the company is feeding you for such a long time. i think we should respect that. its just a human nature for example:- if you are not up to the mark for a society, society will kick you out.

It's true, they do pay us,but it's not worth it.Time will come, those people who really cares about their company will shift for a better one.a company that would care them back.
