my other half....:)

happy time with him - Having a husband is good, but having a faithful, loving and God-fearing husband is the greatest treasure here on earth; a life called blessed.

It is said in the bible that a man who found a wife found a treasure. Yes, it's true wives are treasures of their husband and husband is the keeper of the treasure. I am a woman who married to a widower. At first I don't want to marry or to be a girlfriend of my husband. I don't like him for a shallow reason; his a widower and a 10-year older than me, he has a 13 year old daughter. But, God's wisdom is beyond my understanding, He's plan is greater than my plan. He's daughter became one of my closest friend and there I saw his greatness as a father. I started to appreciate him as a man. The appreciation was rooted and became love a love that comes my heart, a love that is rooted from the love of God. For 8 months of having a relationship we decided to be tied up together. Now is our seven months of living together and everyday I always thank God for giving me a man, whose shoulders are too wide that I can lean on, a man who showed me what love is, a man who appreciate my being, a man who cares for me, loves me with all his heart, a man who smiles in a simple thing a man who cries when I cried. I was incomplete, and I'm thankful that I've found the other piece of me and made my life here on earth whole. A mystery was being solved.

Sometimes relationships come in ways that we don't expect. You seem to have a wonderful one. I too feel blessed to have such a wonderful husband in my life. He is everything I ever wanted and I would never give that up. We have our arguments and our moments, but all in all, we love one another. I'm happy for you! You have been given a wonderful man.

bettymarie, arguments in a relationship is normal; as what they said it's the spices in a relationship. Spices are necessary for a delicious recipe. The important thing is when you argue, you come up into agreement and the love is always there. I believe that your man will be wonderful as well.

bjc66bjc... thank you so much for seeing my heart. I guess my husband knew that I love him, I appreciate him every time he does something to me, whether it's simple or not. But, I appreciate him the most when he's not beside me. :)

Wow BethelSophia it was so good to read your post! At the moment lots of our friends and a few family members are on the point of divorce. We seem to have more friends that are divorced compared to friends that are happily married. My husband also has clients that come to him because they want to divorce their husband or wife. So it is so wonderful to hear that there are still happy marriages out there like yours. :)
