The doctor started pretty late

The clinic was supposed to start at 10 am and ends at 12 noon only but because he started his clinic almost 12 noon already so we had to wait long. My father was already hungry and so we were hoping that we would be called soon and we were the last patient on queue. So my father has taken his food and medicines when we got back home. We can't just buy him any food on the hospital canteen. because he has his own kind of food specially made for him so he can stay healthy.

I pity those like your dad who really have some ailments that needs to be treated yet, have to wait for a long time before the doctor can finally see him. 
I also experienced that yesterday as i waited for the results of my laboratory exams and wait for the doctor to come back to the clinic because she has to go with a patient to the hospital, for her admittance.
But my patience paid off because i was able to get the result of my lab exams. Though, i have some medicines to take to wash away the small stones seen in the abdominal ultra sound. And i am glad, they were discovered early on so medicines can still make them disappear.

It's okay as the place is pretty convenient as there are not too many patients. But the other hospital we go to could be not be as convenient as there are more patients even if it's a private hospital. Anyway sometimes people would give seat for my father but if not he has a wheel chair anyway to sit at the its the hospital wheel chair as my father can still walk anyway. but some people would not be so understanding of elder people. It makes me feel bad when I see or encounter those kind of people

It's bad when people don't offer their seat to your father, if ever.
Me, if i saw an elderly not having a seat, i would gladly stand and offer my seat.

I pity your dad waiting so very long to see the doctor at the clinic. The doctor was unreasonable to begin the clinic at 12 noon and not 10 in the morning it was meant to be beginning at. I eat a vegan diet and so have to take my own food with me when my disabled son has an appointment. It was a shame your father was feeling hungry and wished to eat. The canteen did not serve the right sort of food and it feels the same for me as a vegan.
