Difference between google+ and google book mark

As we have google+ buttons in most of the article sites, so it is easy to give the + to our articles, some sites offer the google book mark option separately. I just want to know what is the difference between google + and google bookmarking? Is both of them are same? Does our articles are included in google search by giving +1 to them?
