I was looking for a work; i stayed home for almost a month after graduation. It was really difficult to look for a job these days. I am a nurse. It was really hard for nurse these days to join as a staff nurse in any hospital but thank God i was able to get through. And now I am working but got so tired after the hospital work. I wanna leave my work. How about you? DO you like working or just stay home?

Hi Joe! I too used to work in a hospital but didnt find my place. I found my place in the corporate arena that would need medical background. Mind you, there is a career path in the office that I am employed with.

Working is not easy to be found. The same as you, I have just graduated from school for about one month. After eight days' work I have my summer holiday. And now I am too boring. It is interesting and meaningful to go to work, I think.

For me, I'd rather stay home rather than work. But as of the moment, I am working for my future so that I can just stay home. That is why I am doubling my effort to do so. Yeah, jobs nowadays are hard to come by especially with your field. There are a lot of competition going on with nurses when it comes to job hunting. Plus the regulatory commission is really tightening their measures for your field due to many graduates. Just sacrifice first and do your best with your work. Work is really tiresome especially if it is not developed into a passion just yet.

indeed you are right. i just thought that one needs passion so that he can pursue what he really wanted in his life. me, i don't have the passion yet but i'm trying my best in my work. of course, what motivates me is that to be successful in everything i do, in whatever position i may in. so right now, i am doing my best to be successful in this field. of course, it is a one step higher for me knowing that my friends are not yet working. Maybe in the future, I can get away from this work but as of now, my problem is that it makes me so stressful. I don't want to look like an old nanny because of my work. Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts here. GOD bless.

YES YOU CAN! You must believe in yourself that you - YES YOU CAN! You must believe in yourself that you can do it.
After finding it so hard to get a job in the discipline that you were trained, and after you successfully got through it and worked, now you want to leave? I hope it is just a feeling of a moment for you. You have to think it thru. It is a process that you have to go thru to make use of the knowledge you learned. And you must understand that you will gradually get used to the routine and you won't feel that tired anymore. You are at the beginning of your career, give yourself a chance, make it work well as it may be what you will be doing for the most parts of your life. Don't let go that easily. You can do it if you are willing to. If I am given a chance to choose, I will want to do what I like to do - when I want to stay at home, I can. When I want to work, I can. But life does not provide me that. So I have to work hard everyday so that my family can enjoy the kind of living standard that we want.

yes maybe you are right. you have a point that i have been in very meticulous trainings, board exams and 4 years of studying then i'd be backing off with the career that i have been studying. of course, i know that it is my first and it felt so tiring but sometimes, i just wanna give up knowing that my compensation is not that much. i hope i could find a better job than this. thanks for dropping by. God bless.

Hello, I am a nursing graduate but I am working online. For the first months, I enjoyed staying at home, but as days passes by it's kinda boring and I feel like I will be like this forever. That's why after 2 years, I decided to take the board exam and hopefully I'll pass and soon I can get a real job. Maybe it's tiring but at least The experience is worth it. Goodluck Joe.

Let's face it. If you are a nurse, you are overworked but underpaid here in the Phils. But if it really makes you happy to be one, just go ahead, persevere a little more. Eventually, your hard work will be rewarded if you apply overseas. I am an ER nurse for the past four years. I just resigned three months ago because I wanted to take a break, get some fresh air. Life in ER is so stressful. I felt like the stress will take its toll on me in the long run. But I continued for years because I love the adrenaline rush and the pressure to find a job as a nurse is high. I eventually decided to resign. So for now, I am taking part time online job as writer so that I can experience working from home. I like it when I work from home. No hassle in travel during times of typhoon and rainy days, no uniforms to wash and iron before going to work, plus, I work and earn at my own pace. I work only when I want to.

Working would keep you occupied and pays you salary. But you have to face challenges and difficulties which is pretty much tiring. Staying at home is pretty good but you would need to worry about your living expenses. I would have prefer to work for myself or work at home for a less stressful and tiring life. I would also have time for my family. The only thing is that working at home gives low pay which can hardly support a living while working for myself would need some capital in order to start.

hello, joevanosa.i am a student,i have not a work yet.but i know how diffiicult to find a job these days.before this summer vocation,i planed to find a part-time job on the vocation, but ~~you know ,i failed! you work as a nurse,it sounds great.but the critical point is that if you love this job at all?we are both young, and we should find a job that we are really want to do.if you do not like this job,so go ahead, try to find the job which is belong to you.but you should really think it twice,as the fact shows that it is not easy to find a job,you should ask yourself is that worthwhile~~~but whatever, just believe yourself and do yourself good lucky~~~~~~

Hi! I am a senior in my college so I have not really experienced working yet. I have only done some part time work :) Congratulations for finding a job. it is indeed hard to find a decent job. All of my upper batch friends have this problem also. It is funny that after finding a job, you said that you want to quit because of the stress. Well, my advice is don't quit. Hang in there and enjoy your work. You have been studying all these years to get a job. Now that you finally have a job, enjoy it; enjoy the taste of achievement. Just remember to not over-stress yourself :) I like staying at home and hanging out with my friends. If I can choose to not work, I will take that option but who am I kidding. We all need to work :)

When I'm working, I always wish to just be able to afford to stay home. When I'm at home, I would always wish to have a "normal" job Any type of work or career expertise tends to weigh down and burn us out if we let it get to us. We need to take a break occasionally. Or talk to our immediate superiors about the possibility of work rotation. Anything just to keep us learning and doing new things.

i like workng. but when you are working, you will feel comfortable and you think you are making contribution to the sociaty, you konw it's good that you have wome work to do every day. evrn though you must work hard, and you can get gains becuase of your hard work. and you will tired, but happey. if you stay at home, maybe you will feel comfortable at beginning, but you will feel boring and no interesting for a long time.
