what is the best brand of lap tops

according to me- Dell is best at present . reasons- 1. it provides same features at much lower prices than other companies. 2. the quality is also good. 3. complete care warranty ( like if laptop falls in water Dell will replace it free of coast) (i am not 100% sure, contact Dell for further info.)

I think there is no the best brand but there is the most suitable brand. Firstly you should consider the use of your laptop then you can figure out the configuration and choose the brand which meet your demand the most. But my laptop also is dell as well,it is no doubt that Dell is a good brand.

I think what matters is the processor type and how powerful the laptop is. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Intel Core i3. I couldn't afford to buy one with an Intel Core i5 or i7. It runs with Windows 7 and my Internet type is called Fire Fox. My previous laptop was a Dell and it had a much lower specification. Dell, HP and Toshiba are great brands for laptops. If the laptop is to be used on the move it needs to be lightweight. I fancy getting an ultra book that weighs just 1.4 kg but it is way too expensive.

I'm not familiar with all the brands, but out of the ones I tried, hands down, Dell is the best. It is the fastest, has many features, breaks down the least frequently and it comes in more designs and colors than most brandsw (I can't help it, I'm a design-obsessed GIRL :D I have a dark blue one :D):

Hi sajith804,my friend laptop is dell,it's still working until now it is a 5 years old laptop and still in good condition. Mine is toshiba that I bought last 2006, it's still also working and never broke from the day I that bought it. I think toshiba and dell are best brand in laptops, they can stay longer as long you careful,take care and use them properly.

Dell is a good brand and they got lots of good models in it. I am using lenovo. lol I think it is okay, as far as the purpose is defeated. I think I would go for dell though, as a suggestion. have a wonderful day.

So many laptop manufactures are there. But I prefer dell laptops. I have seen many people carrying dell laptops with them. I think they are the best one. I have not so many explanation for it. But this is what I think .

I'm dreaming of a toshiba laptop but did you know that I have a few friends and relative that have a toshiba but I heard that it easily broken and unfortunately it was very expensive right? But I think it depends on the user who handle the laptop, I'm using Acer laptop for almost 3 years and I'm prove she survive on my college days and now I'm using it on my personal stuffs, my classmates, sister, cousin also using acer laptops and I think I with the Acer Team which I think a best brand.

i don't think so, Apple is best and vaio too is not bad .

I find it odd that theres quite a few people here that like dells. They arr the #1 worst computer company out there. And on top of that dell took one of the best computer companies(alienware), bought them out and destroyed their quality. Imo asus makes some really good gaming/media laptops but they do have some hardware issues especially with thermal paste and overheating if you game a lot. Sony is another quality company but they dont really make any really strong laptops, just general use laptops pretty much. Laptops in general arent very good for much high powered usage. Tbh if you can build your own desktop pc because you can get higher quality for much cheaper if you build it yourself. I just built my own comp for $1000 and i bet from a comp company it woulda been like $2000+ for the same thing.
