Okay, what's worse than having No internet connection? of course, ELECTRICITY! Last night we had a huge storm w/ adding strong winds that causes another whole night of black out. of course, no electricity, no water But I survived the night because it was cold and i could get to sleep. though, the storm is moving far away, unfortunately we still have to deal in paying for the phone bill. . but am the electricity is back.

i am so thankful that our place is far from getting hit by strong typhoon and heavy rains. i am not saying we don't have bad weather or typhoon or heavy rains and flood waters. but what we are experiencing here are not that extensive and devastating and scary as you in the luzon area particularly have experienced. one thing that made me decide to stay here not to go back to my home province.

WE often have storms that cut off our electricity and then we have no phone or water, heat or cooling since we are an all electric home. But since there has been a big golf course with lots of very expensive homes build near our ranch the electric service repair is much faster. I wonder why that is?

dear LK, Thu the power was not cut and I am still able to browse the net last night, I had a good chat thru phone with another mylotter coz there's a black out at their place. It's her Birthday so, I was able to greet here first time in the morning. We've been talking until 2am and having fun while I am sharing her thing from mylot and other sites... :P Hope you are safe my dear brother :)

I was scared last night.. The winds were howling like crazy... What also kept me up are the GI sheets of our squatter neighbours, it sounded like the sheets would fly away! hayyyyyyyyy... terrible... I also admit that a big part of me had been scared for those near the riverbanks, those in low areas for a flood might him. True enough, it did.

We did not have a power outtage last night although power kept on fluctuating, I was mylotting and power would go off for a few seconds then turn on again, it happened probably 7 times so I just shut down my pc, I slept very little cause I kept watch over my family and the property, quite scary cause I was hearing things flying then dropping like pieces of G.I. sheets or something and like tree branches breaking, I was more concerned with the wind than the rain cause it hardly ever floods in our place, another problem was the litter in the morning due to leaves. In the vacant lot. a tuba tree was felled so that would still be a problem I have to deal with after the storm passes.

Yeah, I just slept with the course of the storm. The winds are very strong indeed. But luckily, we didn't bot a black out in our place. Plus, the internet is really working fine out in here. Just one of those good days with my internet and electricity. Before we use to get a black out during simple rains and the internet connection will go too slow. But still, the weather last night was really scary reminding me of the Ondoy experience.

Inspite of having heavy rains and strong winds the power did not cut down and still I have my internet. Only I did not sleep also because Im worried about the water might got too high to caused a flood. I slept about 4 am and the rain was not bad but I woke up 6 am when my phone ring, a call from a neighbor telling me that the water was already reach my gate. Wow I hardly go up and go downstairs to fix agen my things. Lucky for the second time it did not reach my floors.

yup it was that heavy and though we are bit far, we still felt the effect and it was that scary and the wind was that harsh and strong. It was raining so hard during dawn and i had to be awake as there was no electricity, i had to put rechargeable lights all over the place as it was that dark. Plus there is a leak in the roof had to put some pail lol.. it was that tiring. how i wish there will be no rain tonight so i get a good sleep.

I couldn't sleep last night. My vehicle was parked outside our house, since I was the last one to arrive. Our neighborhood has lots of trees, some of them old, and it's very common that one or two of these trees fall when the winds are very strong. The power outage made it worse. I was downloading a big file for work which I usually do before going to sleep. It saves time. Oh, well, it's a good thing nothing untoward happened that night except for that scare and a little inconvenience. Glad to know all's well on your side also.

May I say ditto? The rains haven't let up in my area. It seems like the rain clouds just took a 3-minute break then it let loose again all the rainfall that will equivalent to next year's quota. Hope there will be no more of that power interruption tonight.
