Mark Caguioa emerged as the league's MVP despite his team's early vacation, barely missing a shot in the Finals. Gary David and Arwind Santos was among those 2 close contenders but luck apparently weren't on their side. Actually, it was Gary David whom I believed at first, that'll bag the prestigious award but in the end, only to watch MC47 walk his way to receive the prestigious plum. I think he deserved more in winning the award last year than the current season. I kinda freaked out when I saw Jimmy Alapag was named as the MVP. Jason Castro, I believe was more deserving than him(Jimmy), and the PBA fans would emphatically agree to that. By the way, Mark Caguioa was also named as the season's Best Player of the Conference. Making him the top candidate to win the MVP plum.

This prestigious award is long overdue in my opinion. He has been consistently playing very well and has been considered to be the heart of the Gin Kings. Although the team did not make it to this conference's championship, the MVP award is very well-deserved.

Mark is a great player. This is his first MVP as a PBA player and his age is more than 30. A veteran player and is deserving to get the reward. He carried the Ginebra team even without big support from his teammates.
