Even when I was still young, I already dream of venturing and exploring various famous places. Now that i'm done my studies and have already work, I started fulfilling that dream of mind...It's not only a simple hobby but for me that is the thing that makes me obssessed. Ican give up some my important things to be done or even my work sometimes just to pursue a scheduled travel. How about you?I know we have different obssesion, I'll be happy to know yours also.

Nothing wrong with that but due to being young I suggest you make sure you are saving at least 15% of your salary for the future(not just retirement but a house etc). What places have you been to already? I myself love traveling and my biggest regret is not having more time to do so. The joys of being a parent(although I am sure my princess would love to see the world).

I love travelling. My husband and I spent a year working in Japan and using our weekends to see everything that we could. We saved up while there and made a trip over to beijing. Since then we have spent a year in Egypt, have traveled to both coasts of the the US, and are saving up for a trip to Italy.

When I was a child I had a globe and I used my finger to imagine hopping to different places in the world. My family used to go on a vacation every year to Devon and there I heard foreign languages which fascinated me. I got taken on day trips and short trips to France our neighboring country. France I found out was one hour ahead of my home country so that let me find out about the time differences. I really wished to travel to many other countries in the world. In class we did a project on Canada and Nigeria. We got to visit the Commonwealth Institute and I found it very interesting indeed. I loved learning about different places. I am lucky because other countries are close to my home country and it was affordable to visit some of those when I was a teenager. I got a paper round at age 13 years old and saved up to visit Greece with my mom when I was 14 years old. I got a Saturday job when I was 16 years old. It let me save up to visit the Netherlands with a friend when I was 17 years old. I wondered how I could have enough money to travel around Europe by train. So at age 18 years old I worked in Finland as a children's nanny. With high wages I soon had enough money for my trip around Europe. Now I am aged 40 years old traveling is still my obsession. I traveled around the world when I was aged 20 to 21 years old. I had my first trip to South America last year and went there again earlier this year. I wonder where I shall visit next year. I wish you happy traveling.

Traveling is almost my obsession , I want to live life full of adventure and new experience . Traveling around the world would do just that meeting new people every day and experiencing new cultures , making new memories . I want to see the world see how others live and taste their local dishes .

Love reading all the responses. I too would like to travel. Since all the kids are grown my youngest is 18 (yeah) but he still has a half a year of school to complete -- but that doesn't stop us. We want to take him to Idaho to a theme park that isn't too far from Washington state and we would like to check out New York to see the city that doesn't sleep. We'd also like to see all of the East Coast and possibly see Key West. We have so much we want to see here in the US first. Then it's off to Mexico, Hawaii and a jump over to Alaska to see my friend Ida who I haven't seen since high school. We have plans to see the world and it will happen slowly. We'd rather put money away for our trips then spend it on going out to eat. We are retired and ready to meet new people; learn different cultures Sweden would be nice; Amsterdam too as well as the Philipines and my son lives in Japan with his wife and he is expecting a child and we plan to go there to see him as well I know radiation but what can I say it's family.

We have same obsession. I want to travel around the world, visiting every country that I used to dream in my childhood. I have visit some places and still have bunch in my bucket, I know it will take time and money but I know I will make it someday. I am dedicating my time to earn extra cash for another trip.

I also love travelling, but I think I am more obsessed in creating a home and having my place in our kitchen. It probably stems from the fact that I'm still sort of a newly-wed and there's nothing that excites me recently than the sight of such wonderful, new and innovative household tools and appliances. Sometimes even furnitures. I do not want to clutter our home with stuff that we will barely use or even need that's why I take my time and check everything before I even enter a store. And I make sure to stick to my list and budget as equipping one's house isn't cheap.
