Being a zombie lover from the early days of George Romero, I was thrilled when The Walking Dead hit the airwaves, a truly brilliant show. Most of the films produced for today's theaters show a glimpse of what happens after the zombie apocalypse first breaks out and the first few days of survival. Securing shelter, finding food, where to find medical needs and having protection. The Walking Dead let's us look deeper into day to day life of what it would be like to try and survive with the flesh eaters running amuck. Having read the graphic novel, the basis for the tv show I was pleasantly surprised to see the writers were infact sticking with the main characters and story line which makes it doubly entertaining. I'm often not impressed or bothered with the made for tv type shows, because of their lack of loyalty to the original project. Nice job.
