Friend; easy or hard to be found?

It is easy to find a friend but it's not easy to find a true friend/ a real friend. Friends are like leaves you can find it everywhere; but true friends are like fruits it's rare to be found. You might perhaps disagree with my opinion that it's easy to find friend, well I have a reason and interpretation why it's easy to find a friend. As being taught in the school or in google.com or any other informational site; there are 3 kinds of friendship: 1st. Acquaintance friend = it's when you and the other person say greetings to each other without knowing each other's back ground, 2nd. Close friend = it's the relationship where in you and your friend know each other's background and the 3rd one is Best friend or real friend = it's the relationship wherein there is a mutual understanding, empathy, sympathy and deep love. In the Bible in 1 Samuel in 20th chapter you can really witness the love of David and Jonathan a love of a real friend; David loves Jonathan so much as he loves himself and vise versa.
Considering in today's time we can still find a true friend but as what I have said it's hard...harder than what we think.But, I guess one of the secrets to have a true friend is to be a true friend of yourself first.

I think its easy to make friends but true friends come once in a life time . You are right I make friends wherever I go but Its really rare getting a friendship that I dont mind losing . I make acquaintances online , an close friends but I have only four best friends all my life . Now good friend are becoming more rare to come across.

What you said about friend is true. I really agree with you. In fact, I don't have a true friend. I think it's so hard to make a true friend. When I was at school, I had a lot of good friends, we played toghther, but I don't think that's true friend, because I wont' tell them my secrets. I think true friends are the persons you tell them your secrets. Now I am a mother, I'm busy most of the time, I have little time to make friends. But my husband can share my sorrows and happiness, so I think my husband is also my true friend.

I think that finding a friend can be a very easy thing to do. Communication and relationshios can be started in a very easy way with little effort. i do believe that the tak of find a true friend to count on through thick or tin , over the yesrd snd under any cicumstnce is the rsre find of this world. once we mater the difficulty of dindng that friend it can be qualy as hard to hold on to thst relationship and keep it real. @greenteab7 (94)

Yeah,buddy I am agree with u. I have a bunch of friends, but if u ask me how many true friends I have. I am afraid of say.....only 1, or even nobody is my true friend... But I have a lot of good friends, they all treat me very well. I really envy people who has 1 true friend, only 1 true friend that is way enough...

It's really hard to find a true friend. Me also has the same problem that i don't have any best friend yet coz ppl are some how attached to you for there needs. They hardly like you for being your self they just either want your money or some other benefit. I am trying to be a true friend but what if the other one doesn't wana be a true friend, that's the problem with me.

Agree...! We can make friendship with tons of people, but may be only one can be our true friend, or worst none of them can be our true friend.
True friend will never turn their back when we are in very bad situation. True friend will laugh and cry with us along the way. True friendhip will be unforgetable, evergreen.

It's true, you can always find a lot of friends but seldom can you find a true one, someone who will be there for you in all walks of your life, may it be easy or difficult. Someone who's not going to be behind your back but someone who will be sitting beside you. I have a lot of friends but I don't think that some of them can be called true.. Well I guess we just need to be friend wih ourselves first before we find one. Happy mylotting:)

Not only must you be a friend to yourself first, but you must first be a good friend to others.
I would disagree with you and say that acquaintances are easy to find but friends are not. There is no such thing as a friend who is not "true". If they are not "true" then they are not a friend.
That is just my opinion.

i think friends are easy to find but real good friends are difficult to find out. if you get along well with others , then you can make a lot of friends around you,and if you want some help, many people will come to help you, but if you meet a bid troble, only your real friends can help you, fingding friends is easy and it is difficult to find real friends

Yo have to be a true friend to someone before they will be a friend to you. I have some very good friends i have know for years I would trust the with my life. and they would do the same.
I also have acquantences , I call them people I know, we visit and talk but are not really close. No secrets are passed.
True friends are hard to find,and are few and far between.
