hi guys, I don't know about you but the place I come from has people practicing witchcraft. They sometimes go to the witch doctor to make somebody's life miserable. I hate all this and I don't believe in it. But I have this father in law who is suffering from the backfire of witchcraft. He locks himself inside the house and does not communicate with anyone except his wife. He is feeling that everyone is doing witchcraft on him while there is nobody who is doing that. he is always praying and reading bible but has no love for any of his children. Since I am new here, I don't know what there past is and why he is like this. but my mother in law said when the children were small they were very naughty and then somebody told them to see a witch doctor who can fix the problem. They thought somebody did black magic on the kids that is why they are giving trouble. Finally they went to the witch doctor and he told all the things that was true in their case and my father and mother in law were convinced that the witch doctor can solve there problem since he was correct on everything he told. I don't know what happened that now this fellow is suffering. I believe it is the backfire of the witchcraft they did in the earlier days that is why he is scared that someone is doing black magic on him. He is become a mental patient now. Now I know that black magic can be true and does exist. I have never experienced this in my life but when I see my father in law. I am convinced it exists. what do you say? do you believe in black magic? have you across any situation like this?

It is your father who is making the conscious choice to do these actions, locking himself away, etc. He is choosing not to communicate. This is the 'power' of so called witch doctors. Believe me, if they really worked on real issues, we would have no cancer, no illness, no disability, and everyone would have tons of wealth and prosperity. The reason we believe what they do works, is that the 'witch doctor' finds a vulnerable psychological point within the human being, and preys on it. There is no such thing as black magic. You can toss tons of spells on an athiest and nothing will happen to them, because they do not believe. What is happeneing to the people is that they believe in it. It's not real except in the minds of those who believe it is. Take a look at atheists, a real good hard look at skeptics, they are often extremely happy and well balanced. do yourself a favor, if this kind of black magic frightens you, then immerse yourself in scientific theory, get a degree or study the physical sciences, get your head in science. I know spiritual people say 'FAITH' all the time, but faith did not build a computer, intellect did, faith did not build a car, hard work and invention did. Get rid of this old way of thinking that gives control to charlatans and liars. Instead, go for the intellect and learn some science!!!!! If witch doctors could really cure, there would be no hospitals anywhere, but they can't. When you pull yourself away from it all, the world of faith and everything, you will see the world around you was build on intellect, invention and hard work, not someone chanting some stuff. Remember, you can chant all day, but it will not build a car, and I doubt it will save your soul. YOU have control over you, no one else.

In my catholic faith, we are taught about God as well as the devil. If I believed that there is a God and He represents the good, then I should also believe of evil and all of its minions. If one would see witch craft as part of the evil side, then I am opted to believe it. I never had encountered one and will not even intended to meet one in my lifetime.

This sounds more like a case of paranioa and maybe a little karma. Because he is in the thros of paranioa, he is convinced that everyone is against him and therefore doing witchcraft against him. Some superstitions are very firmly cemented in peoples belief systems and will emerge when they are ill. I believe that he probably has some mental problems and due to his beliefs and teaching, they are emerging in this manner. It's just like a child (older child) with mental problems that may believe the boogeyman is true and out to get them. Their fear outweighs their sensibilities.

agnostic, that is me. I don't know should I believe in black magic, or not. It is superstitious, but someone say it is existed. While somebody told me where the scientific proof of its existence. I just don't have any clue whether I should believe in it or not. Honestly, I think that fella of your neighbor has some sort of mental problem, and he should see a psychologist, or a shrink, rather than a witch doctor.

I believe the source of black magick is dark matter. It is an energy that cannot be seen and has been proven to exist. Everything we see with our eyes contains dark matter in between.

Black magick always comes with a price because you are calling on nagative energies that demand payment for what they are being used for. If you are going against the laws of nature then you will pay for it in many ways. It's sad that he has not communicated with his children because love and other positive energy is what will fight this. Fear only makes it stronger. I do not fear magick probably because I am Scorpio and it is within our realm but positive energy is the key. God doesn't help people that don't help themselves so sometime you are meant to take action and not just rely on faith.

Of course,I believe in witchcraft or black magic. From what I have read and experienced I have come to the conclusion that it is no less than a science. Those who practize it chant some mantras that we don't understand. While chanting a particular mantra they follow a particular procedure. All these yield desired result.Generally witchcraft is done with an evil purpose, but sometimes you can resort to it for good purposes also. Here I am going to cite one of my experiences. I had been to my younger sister's who is the mother of a young girl.At that time my niece was just an infant. My sister was then at a rural area where practising witchcraft was a common thing. One noon she went out of her house carrying my niece in her lap.She went to a jackfruit tree and returned to her house. As soon as she entered the house,my niece started vomiting. She went on vomiting continuously for more than half an hour.My sister's neighbor told her to go to a witch doctor. The witch doctor burnt a fire, asked my sister to sit ner it with the girl child in her lap and began chanting mantras.I was amazed to see that her vomiting stopped within minutes.

i believe there are 2 energies that can be transfered from one creature to another creature. 1st is good energy and the other is bad energy. I never been in that situation before, but my cousins told me a story that my aunti was sick for months because there was a woman who want to separate her from her xhusband, and the only way to heal her was to let her xhusband marry that other woman. So they did break up and my xuncle marry with that other woman and my aunti healed. My aunti is single till now.
