My cousin has his wage cut

I guess that is how most retail chain business run, after certain years of employment, your wage will be cut, since you reach the seniority, they just don't want to pay too much for your experience. That is how the top corporates run the business I guess, like circuit city and best buy, those retail chain stores. My cousin works for CVS, and he positively told us, there is probably higher chance that he might got the wage cut for 20% to 30%. With such move, that means that they want you to quit automatically, rather they tell you to go without a reasonable excuse. With the new people, they can train them all over again with cheaper price.

That's terrible and I've never heard of that happening. Not even with CVS. I have two family members who work for that company and have for some time. One for more years then I even know and one for like atleast 14 years! To have one's wages cut, it's terrible. Though I do see the tactic as horrible as it is! Hopefully your friend can find a better job or get more hours even with the wage cut.
