Saina Nehwal Won the Bronze Medal.........

Saina Nehwal win the Bronze medal in Women's Single Badminton. She won the match as the 2nd seeded Chinese opponent Xin Wang retired from the match after the first set due to knee injury. The Chinese won the 1st set 21-18, at the start of 2nd set she was unable to continue due to injury and retired from the match. So finally India won the game and Medal for the first time in Olympics Badminton. Anyway its a very happy moment for all Indians. So India have now 3 medals, 2 bronze and 1 Silver.

I think Saina was more lucky to win this medal. And its all the result of the prayer of millions of Indian supporters. Xin wang was really playing well and got the first set also.. but she herself got damaged her knee on the course of play and retired in middle.. Anyway Saina got the bronze and India got one more medal, and I am happy.

She loss the first set, but she was playing well , the match was getting very excited and then the injury happened, and things went in favor of India.

Hi Its really proud moment for India that now we have won 3rd medal from the current Olympic game. Even Sania lost the first game, in that match still she was played it well.. and it was possible that she made a come back in that match... But unfortunately for China player and fortunate for Indian player. There are still many games remaining and there are still hopes to get more medals from this Olympic.. So may be it will be more medals from last years.

yes, she was playing well and finally the medal was in India's court.. And there are many hopes remaining for India, so as you said hope India will get more number of medals this time.
