Today I am participating in a "PACC911 Bowl-A-Rama" charity event for the animal rescue where I volunteer, Home 'fur' Good. I managed to raise $150 from people who sponsored me as a bowler. There are 3 other bowlers on the Home 'Fur' Good team (my sister included) so hopefully the other's were able to raise more!! I'll try to get pictures of the event today to share! It should be really fun!! I was told last night that some people dress up in costumes, and that there are cheerleaders! The PACC911 events help raise money for small animal rescues from all over Az, so it's a really good cause! I'll let you guys know how much was raised for my rescue (and I'll let you know if I kick butt or suck in bowling!) Haha

It was fun..but unfortunately no one from our rescue showed up to cheer us on. I was a little surprised and kind of upset. It was only us 4 volunteer bowlers cheering each other on! I was expecting at least a couple people from the rescue to show up for us...oh well I guess! But we did earn over $500 between us for our pledges, so that was good! I can't even remember who won and lost either game! Haha, but i didn't do bad at all!

That sounds amazing. I am so sorry that there are no such charity events here. The one people do is trying to collect donations using their activity as a proof the donations go on the right place. I would love to join some charity event, but I feel like here, in Bulgaria, people hasn't grown up enough to join such causes of fun and raising funds for the better of the animals.
