I do believe this to be true. Even though I am going through a bad phase in life, I trust that the God I pray to everyday has some purpose to do this. And I will know only after I come out of it. Or maybe it is even to make me a stronger person than I am now. The more problems I face, the more my faith in God grows. I do not want to think of anything else and become a non-believer. I was one long back, but now, I am totally the opposite of what I was in my teens. How many of us believe this to be true?It does not necessarily have to be God. It might even be nature's way of teaching us things we are not aware of. What say?

In this world full of sorrow, anything can happen to anyone. The first people of God underwent perils which were God's way of testing their faith. Today, God's people are likely to experience the same which turns most to seek His help and guidance while most who live in contentment forget even to give thanks to the one Almighty.

That is true. People who suffer are the ones who pray and seek his guidance more. But there are times when everything goes wrong, and there is no hope for a better life, believing that everthing happens for good makes us go on and eventually we do find that it is really the end result of all those sufferings.

Your post is really encouraging devijay. I also believe that God allows trials in life to help us become stronger in faith and closer to Him. The more trials we encounter in life, the more we pray for God's help and guidance. In those times when we feel nobody can help us anymore and no remedy can be done to resolve a situation, we can only look up and ask for His grace. It also reminds us that even if we have money, authority, and supporters around to make our life seem almost perfect, life will still be incomplete without Him looking after us. No one and nothing in this world can assure you of absolute happiness, but God alone. Sometimes we really set aside God because we are too busy with our lives, or we are so contented with what we have, or so happy that we almost have everything that we ask for. But it is also in these times when out of the blue, something unexpected happens and that's when we go back to Him in prayer. Trials become reminder to man that we have One Father who longs and wait for our attention, love, and time, as well. God bless!

Hi. I absolutely agree with you. These are my thoughts exactly. I always used to think that God gives us trials because we have forgotten to pray and think about him and only when we face problems in our lives, we remember to pray to him and go to him for guidence. Wouldn't all these not happen at all if from childhood we are taught to pray to him every day and not wait for something bad to happen to think about him? Some people go the other way when they are faced with such a situation in life and that makes things worse. I don't know if it works out for them, but for me, praying and thinking about God every day and every minutes helps me become stronger and slowly gives me the strength to bear everything at least. I keep thinking that this is what is destined to happen and it will happen no matter what. So there is no use trying to break my head over that. Maybe it is to make me stronger and more mature. So I strongly believe that whatever happens, happens for good.

As for me, in all things i have been into and even until now i really cant help but ask if GOD's really watching over and if so then why there's still burden added towards me. I feel like i never have the chance to rest coz bad things always happened, somehow i cant help but cry though i keep on fighting and moving for my daughter sake and thinking this is just my battle but what im fighting for her is not me but my daughter.I just hope someday i will be free from any problem with all my money and become rich so there's no need for me to worry about money things

Hi. We all are fighting in some way or the other. Do not worry, see the brighter side of it. God has still given you the strength to go on, he has given you a beautiful daughter to take care of and has given you enough courage to fight back and prove to yourself and others that you are capable of taking care of yourself as well as your daughter. I would be happy to work like crazy for my kids. I would never let them go, no matter what. Keep up your faith and you will see that things will get better once you get used to the daily work you do. You will emerge a stronger person and don't worry, with your courage and determination, you will definitely make life better for both of you. God bless you and your daughter.

For me, everything happens for a reason, the law of action and reaction, and the outcome sometimes would be definite and sometimes vague. Faith is something that we hold dearly in our hearts, and mind over matter would only prevail with it. Guidance of our thought processing should be dealt with accordingly with faith.

Yes, that is very much true. And I liked what you said. Mind over matter. My father always used to quote that and tell me that everything is in your positive thinking. Sometimes, the outcome might even be what we do not want it to be, but we must learn to see the brighter side of things.

Devi, you are right, we must have trust with god, he will take care of every thing. He is our guide for all our life happenings and our life is going on the path of our path. Problems and issues will give more strength to us and we must face them with our confidence. Wish you to achieve a lot with your confidence and win over all your problems. All the best

Hi VP. My faith in God and his presence is all that is keeping me going even in these troubled times. Whatever happens, it is for my good and life teaches us valuble lessons. I am still learning a lot of things and I pray to God to always be with me and give me strength to overcome all these problems. One day I will become stronger and face everything with a smile, but till then, I pray to God to teach me to trust in him every second and know that he is there with me all through my suffering.

Yes i believe in that too. Everything happens for a reason. We have different problems and trials. But if we believe in God we can be able to surpass anything. It is how we deal with this trials but in the end Im sure that there is something better waiting for us. We must not feel betrayed by God if we have hardships, hence, we should thank him for without him our life will be miserable. Bear in mind - nothing is impossible to God.

God does not betray us. We expect a lot of things and when they do not happen, put the blame on God. We should first see what we have done to deserve such a trial. Or even if we have not done anything at all, we should have the courage to take it in our stride and go on. There is no use complaining or blaming others or even God. It is all linked to us somehow and we should find the good in every situation and make the most of it.

I also believe in God with all of my hard. Time ago I was strongly believing the bad moments in our life has something to do with our personality like giving us a good lesson for something wrong we did, or just a hard moment before she sunshine on our own street. Now I started separating both things. We can't excuse every bad moment in our life with God giving us any lessons. Sometimes we are just stuck and the reason for that is not God who got us there to not know what to do for future... Sometimes bad things happening to us are caused because of other people. The reason might be whatever. What I am trying to say is that we don't have to use God to excuse our own bad moments. Reasons about having them might be a lot. The precious for us is to get out of this. And thank God we are leaving healthy and without big damages.

Hi. What you say is true to a certain extent. God has nothing to do with right and wrong. We reap what we sow. Either in this birth or the last one(I do believe in rebirth). Or it might also be because you have done something to hurt others in your past. Or it might be something totally unrelated. But seeing the good in everything and trying to overcome our problems that way will help us lead a better life instead of grumbling or feeling sad for what has happened. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

As long as we do daily inventory of our actions, applying and obeying THE WORD of GOD to keep us in a place where GOD wants us to be, and everything will work together for our good, when it is done according to HIS Purposes

Hi. Even though I have much faith in God, I do not know what he has in store for me and don't know what I am supposed to do when I face problems most of the time. But I do search myself and mostly I do get answers within. And even though the others tell me otherwise, the decisions I take based on this kind of soul searching has always turned out to be the right decisions. Moreover, I do read spiritual books too for guidance which sometimes show me the right way.

I agree with you on this. We should trust the Lord with all our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding. A lotof things happen for a reason; we may not see nor understand the reasons now but surely we will eventually.

I think we suffer only when we are ignorant and do not see the bigger picture, whatever it is. I still feel sad and angry that God is making me suffer but nowadays that feeling is very rare and only my faith in him has grown by leaps and bounds now. I say this because he has always been with me when I suffered and shown me the way out and it had always been a good one for me. I guess he gives this to make me strong and think more about him and learn how to stay detached.

I have to agree with you on that. Everything happens because it is bound to happen. And whatever problems or trials that come our way, it a test on how well we can overcome it. By God's grace, we can improve ourselves more and be stronger to face another trial in our life. We just have to believe that we can do it because of Him.

I have always trusted him (for the past few years) to guide me when I am in trouble. When I suffer, I pray and trust that if not a solution to the problem, he will at least give me the strength to face it boldly without running away from it or fearing it. That is what is happening now too. I pray day in and day out to him for strength to go through whatever is happening with courage.
