Have you ever sat down in a quiet place alone for hours at a time just to examine your life and wonder where you're headed and where you've been?

I have done this, i dont like to though it ussally ends up depressing me because, i am not where i want to be. Because of some health issues, i have not been able to do certain things yet, i hope to someday go back to college though i think i will do online but, it will still be a big step forward.

Remain positive. Every step forward is a move in the right direction. We all have our own paths and we get where we're going when we get there. God bless!

Your boyfriend is correct. If you think positive thoughts, positive things will happen. If you think negative thoughts, negative things will happen. However, it's always so much easier to think negative, so work hard at thinking positive.

Yes, I frequently sit quietly and take stock of things. Sometimes I don't always like the answers that come up in my head, but I think it's a valuable thing to do as a self-awareness tool.

I always do this like a lot of why and how inside my mind that only makes me feel so depressed thats why i just get busy with mylot nor be busy reading articles and whatever i can see to feel my self better and avoid thinking to much. What i know now is to keep on moving and working and i hope that someday there will be an end of all this misery i have and be fine someday. I still want to see myself having my own house and lot, car, own business and to see my own daughter with her own family being happy.

I usually do this early in the morning before anyone has got up. I don't necessarily think where I've been because that is in the past but I do like to think about where I am going or what type of person I am and how to improve on the bad points in my personality. Each week I will take a point that I am not good at, say for example, impatience, then for a week I will try to work hard on being a patient person. The following week it will be something else. I might not always get it 100 percent right but at least I will have improved in becoming a better person.

Yes, I was able to do that and it somehow helped me evaluate myself more. It's exhilarating but frustrating as well 'coz when I get to think of things that I should have done but didn't have the courage to do it, I ended up crying alone. It's like you're searching for your soul and when you're about to find it, you run away from it because you feel you might not like what you'll gonna get.

It's okay to feel frustrated, but never give up on the things you want to do. They will get done in time. We all should continually search for our souls because our paths are never complete, and life is ever evolving. Keep up your faith and journey.

It's something that I will do from time to time. There are times, when I do it more than others. It's not always pleasant for me, especially when there's something bothering me.

I always do this. I like to sat down in front of the sea and think of life, when I'm not at the beach house, I like to be on my balcony and stay for hours looking the crowd and think in which should be the next steps that I should have take in my life.

Yeah many a times i have spent some time in loneliness just to examine where have i reached in my life and what i am supposed to do next. This has helped me immensely in many ways.

I did this before I get married and changed careers, and it has to happen at the same time =) Itwas one of those moments that I am torn between getting all excited and worked up for my new life, and just letting myself live my life as is where I am sure of everything and living within my comfort zone. I ended up getting married and changing careers. I just scared myself even more when I think about it, but it makes me more aware of my direction and where I wanna be headed.
