Have you ever been a person that was addicted to something that controlled their life? I have, I lived with a man that is a drug abuser, he was mentally abuse of to me and my child. It took me a long time to realize that I was even being abused by him. I had friends and family tell me to leave him, but I was blinded by what I thought things were pose to be. Through all things I lost in the relationship from money, and my identity. It took my child, for me to realize what I was doing to our lives. I have learned a lot from that relationship, and I never will be in that kind of relationship again. I give thanks to my child everyday for waking me up and getting us away from that man. If you have ever been in my shoes, you know how hard it is to leave someone like that. If you are someone that is going through something like this, never give up and always remember you are worth no matter what they tell you.
