How do I make friends on MyLot?

Welcome to myLot. Consider that myLot is a bus or a train where you have taken a seat for a long journey. You start talking to the other people who are having a ride just like you and among them will be those with whom you have something in common and you exchange phone numbers or addresses. Here you will start talking with others in the discussions and there will be those with whom you have the same interests, the same style of humour or you are from the same country or... whatever else. You will then add each other by one of you sending a friend request to the other. That's all

Actually you are free to make your own way to add people on Mylote to be listed on your friend list. But, I suggest you to add people become your friend by looking them whether having the same interest to discuss. If you want to add the number of your friend, just add me, I will approve your friendship request. Cheers...!

Well, if you continuously respond to other peoples' discussions and create your own discussions, as time passes by, you will gain more and more friends. If you respond to a discussion and someone agrees with you opinion, that's an opportunity to talk more with that person. And then you'll develop friendship. That's how it works. There are many ways to gain friends here. You're still new so you can just explore first.

Yes, don't add everyone cause there are many that don't even answer you. But you could add those that you actually talked in a discussion or when you are the one that found someone interesting and want to meet them you can add them. It's nice when someone adds, like an internet polite thing to do to drop a message, otherwise most don't start a conversation so the one adding should at least tell us why or something.

When I first came here if I started a discussion, the people that responded to my discussions I would request for them to be my friend. =) I figured we must have something in common if they found my discussion interesting enough to respond to it! I hope you make a lot of friends soon! Friends here are such a Blessing to have.

hi scarlet! You have a nice name.. Anyway, ima newbie here too.. I dont have friends here before, only the one who referred me to join this site.. What i did? i did not wait for them to add me.. (I may not know they are not interested or to give time adding me :) ) so what i did?i added them even if i dont know them much. Because i realize, soon i will start to know them as soon i start reading their discussions or even giving time checking their profiles and it worked for me! :) Don't be afraid to add them, i think they are all nice here. :) Enjoy mylot!

there is nothing as such rules or guidelines of adding up friends here on Mylot. You can send friend requests randomly or can wait for some time after which friend requests might come up. More importantly focus on your stint with Mylot.
