My co-worker ask me if there was a storm coming, although here in where we at, it is raining hard... raining cats and dogs as some may say. Then for the first time, I thought that ti will be better to check online as the only thing that what we have here is computers, no TV or no radio to give us any weather updates. They have this certain website, in which you can see if schools have classes as well. They have a weird site name though; www.maypasokba.com In English, "May pasok ba (sa paaralan)?" means "Do we have classes (at schools)?" Hope to get one for offices though. LOL. If only websites like this are popular before, we wouldn't risk ourselves during High School days coming in for classes to find out that it has already been suspended. We end up roaming at malls anyway. LOL. Who else here are using search engines to check if there are classes tomorrow, or for that weather report we need before going to work? Let me know what's on your mind about it.

I will join you in that list of people who searches the internet for weather updates. It is funny that I forgot to even check on the news on TV when it was declared that work in government offices and classes for all levels was suspended due to inclement weather. Although TV and radio would be the quicker ways to check on the weather, the internet is now a new and sometimes more accurate and updated way of checking on the weather. I often refer to accuweather.com for weather updates and forecasts.
