Not liking this season of True Blood

Last summer I became a True Blood fan and so of course I was excited for the season this summer to start. But ever since it started, I just don't feel as caught up in the plot as I was for all the other seasons. I don't like how all the main characters are off on their own storyline and not really interacting with each other like they used to. There's too many subplots to the show and I think things are just starting to lose focus. I also feel like everything is so drawn out and slow. You wait forever for something to happen and when it does, it leaves you hanging again for a few more episodes. I love the show and so I've been watching it even though I haven't liked this season as much as I liked the previous ones. If you watch True Blood, how do you feel about this season?
