Do you think a credit card is convenient?

in my opinion credit cards certainly promote spending money even though they are convenient means of purchasing.when people have credit cards people will be tempted to shop more often because they don't have to pay their desired thing in cash. Some people that has credit card don't usually think that when they are using their credit card more often they might not pay the bank for their bills.

That is me, I applied so many credit cards lately, and I was swamped with paying off the debt on credit cards. It was tempting, and you just couldn't stop yourself by spending that money. So, if you can, cut off as many credit cards as you can. Make your financial healthy.

Yes, it is convenient and with most of them you can get cash back. I really see no reason why it would make someone spend more. People should always be aware of how much they are spending and whether they need something they are buying or not. I pay for everything with a credit except for things that will not except a credit card. I always pay the full amount of the bill each month and have never paid any interest on a credit card. I just don't understand how people can be irresponsible about their spending and if they are why a credit card would make any difference.

Yes credit card is convenient but a debit card is even better because you will only the spend the amount that you already have. Therefore preventing you from spending too much and land yourself in a debt.

Of course having the credit card is so convenient. I can not only buy from the real stores, but also consume in the online stores. I don't like bringing a lot of cash when I go out. It is not safe. Besides, the cash is not so clean. So most of the time I like to pay by credit card. Besides, the bank can give me some gifts according to my consuming amount. I love China

Yes, credit cards are convenient in the manner of buying things online.. You need to go to the nearest bank or payment center, it is automatically deducted.. But practically wise, it is not...

I think a credit is convenient sometime too convenient.. I think only people with control should have a credit card... because they are very tempting when cash is low..then down the road you have hit that brick road then, the debt starts to happen right before your eyes.... I don;t have one because I like to deal with cash only because I am on a budget and don't want any unneccessary bills....lol

Both credit and debit cards are called as plastic money and people are interested in spending more with this plastic money. In this modern days people are interested in shopping with their credit cards and don't worry about the money, as we can spend more using it. But they forget that we are in need to pay the money future. Most of the credit card holders don't worry a lot about their spending, as they can spend a lot using their credit card and shocked a while after seeing their bills. We must organize our spending to avoid worries in our life. Credit cards are for our emergency needs, some times we are in need to pay bills or purchase some thing, at that time we don't have any money, we can use our credit card for our emergency needs. But we must avoid the unwanted luxury usage of the credit card. We don't get any benefits by using credit cards for unnecessary shopping needs, only our credits will be increased in this way and we are in need to pay a huge bill in the future. Don't tempted to spend a lot with your credit card, always organize your expenses and spend the money in a good way to avoid unwanted money problems in your future.

do you think a credit card is convenient? maybe bec. if you are in the mall and like to buy something even you don't have cash you can but it just swipe your card. and there are also many promo in a credit card like 0 interest. but is hard to pay your debt, bec. it have to pay on time. if not pay on time there is an interest in your debt and that will give you pressure in paying of it. and you have to pay the interest to beside the principal. but if you have cash and why are you paying in credit card. and i more enough if you pay in cash bec. you are much rich in paying cash than card. and if you have a debt card or atm. it also good as cash bec. your money on inside a card and you can swipe it and you will not withdraw any atm. so if you have a atm card do shopping with it but not much on credit card. thank you

Credit card is convenient while making cashless payment but for sure, it's not convenient when you trap on debts because of credit cards. BEtter not to have CC if you are careless in spending. Get a CC only if you don't want to bring money. Most rsponsible credit card holder used it then pay it immediately. Have a great day!

Definitely. Especially for me, because I buy most my stuff online - since I live in a middle of nowhere, it's usually cheaper, and more convenient to just order online, and.. well, I can't do that without a CC :)

It depends on how you use it. It can really be abusive if you allow yourself be tempted all the time. But if you have a discipline it will be a sure help for you. For instance, if your salary is not yet there and you need yo buy food for your family you can use the credit card then just pay the due amount on time and you will not have a problem. Sometimes, if you are smarter enough to manage when you will purchase you can take advantage of the length of time you can pay the debit amount. Know your statement date and it is much better to purchase after that date and you will have two months grace period before the due date of your purchased item.

In some ways, using credit card is really convinient because you don't have to worry bringing cash in your purchases or shopping. However, you must also have the discipline in using them. Spending it is just like spending cash too but you will be delayed in paying since you have to wait for the billing before payment. There are also some tricks in using your credit card to give you more convinient. In my case, I usually do my purchase after the cut-off period so thatI will have to pay it for about two months after the purchase. Yes, having credit card makes you temp to purchase when you see something you like to buy, but again, self-discipline is really needed or else, you will suffer when the due date comes.

Well, I can tell you about this topic related to creditcard, just from what I learned from people, my acquaintances who have it. I fact, I never had a creditcard, but rather a debitcard, or better known as a prepaid card. Owning a creditcard, in my opinion has both the advantages, disadvantages of that. The advantages are that you do not need to bring with you a lot of cash (the risk that you might be stealing your wallet!). Then just smear, type the PIN, and you're done. There are at least in my country lots of offers reserved just only to possessors of creditcards. But this thing, but also involves some negative aspects. When I wrote "you're done!", in wtat precise moment the money is taken from your BankAccount. Money you do not see physically, so do not "weigh" as spent. Using very often this type of payment, risks, however, do fall a lot on your budget transfer.

For me it is convenient in a way that you can use it anywhere without bringing cash on hand, and for EMERGENCY purposes. But if you have funds you can use your debit card also for purchasing goods and services (without paying interest to the bank). Just use it with caution, because some are abusing it and swipe even if it is not necessary that sometime lead to an overwhelming high bills. :)

it sure is makes it easy to shop and it also sure makes it easy to loose track of your money faster as well. with all the extra credit you get and all the fees. urgh too easy. i prefer having a debit card though. functions like a credit card eg. online shopping but money comes out straight from my account.

In my view there good if you can afford to have them. they are a good way to build credit report up. However if you default you can be lumbered with late payments and charges. I have used them in the past and currently today I will not use them due to how easy they are to apply for one.
