does anyone know where the winter 2014 Olympics will take place?

I've only just found out that the Olympics actually take place every two years, the summer session and the winter session. anyone know which sports take place during the winter session?

No, I don't know. But I do know where the 2016 winter olympic will take place. It will take place in Norway, and the city Lillehammer. Usually in the winter Olympc sports like ice-skating, skiing and snowboarding takes place. There are other sports too.

2016? Have I got the original date wrong? I suppose it makes sense to have Olympics in the same year! :)

The 2014 winter olympics (XXII Olympic Winter Games) will take place in Sochi, Rusia on 7th to 23rd of February 2014. There are ninety-eight events in fifteen winter sports will be held.
