Olympics - Chances of GBR taking over USA in the medal table?

GBR have done a lot better than expected at London2012 Do you think they have a shot at moving up in the medal table? Or now that their strongest sports are over do you think they have peaked? Or is it the power of the crowd that could give them a shot?

With "home ground" advantage, the team will definitely have better showing at the medal tally. At the moment, they are third in the table. Honestly, I don't see them overtaking USA or China. The two countries are really the superpower of the sports world.

I don't think they have a chance of over taking the USA or China for that matter. There biggest concern right now should be Russia and if they can beat them out for third in the metal count. They have been trading places with each other for a few days; I don't know where they stand today. So it probably depends on the events that are left and which nation, GBR or Russia, is competing in those events and how good they are in them.
