Have you ever seen a prairie dog town. These small rodent like creatures you have underground towns that ran for thousands of miles. Their tunnels connected village to village and seemed to go on forever. With the onslaught of pasture, ranching and farming many of the animals and towns were destroyed. There are still some towns around and people come and watch the animals as they scurry to and fro. Prairie Dogs are fun to watch and seem to be so inquisitive you just have to wonder what they are thinking.

Have never seen them. Have only read about them. The only time I saw them in action was on T.V. They are great builders of underground tunnels I've come to know. They also seem to kind of cute. Funny to see them run and dive into the holes when an eagle is sighted in the area.

No I haven't had the pleasure of that. Sounds really fun for them, animals are smarter than we give them all credit for. Just cause they can't talk to us doesn't mean they can't do all of this, etc.
