After three months my nook tablet is working again...well almost

After two years of dreaming of owning an ebook reader, I finally took the plunge (took me long enough to save for it) and bought a Nook tablet. Me and my tinkerpaws were still celebrating when after a while I couldn't get it to work! If only I can kick myself for being overzealous. Because I made some software adjustments, my warranty was unforgivably voided. My obsession for finding a fix took almost a week to no avail. So there it sat in my drawer, gathering dust for three months. Yesterday morning out of boredom I browsed for solutions again and, Voila! There it was a fix. A whole day of tinkering recovered almost all of the device's partitions. I still have some minor things to fix but at least my nook is up and running. I'm so happy. Have you ever given up on something, forgot about it and found a resolution after some time? It really is lifting.

Maybe your Nook Tablet is the process of recovery, when you think has been error / failure. And the process is completed when you use it three days later.

I'm actually booting through the sd card for the last three months. Wasn't able to see the internal storage before. But now I can. Stuck at read forever though.
