Hi! I'm new on myLot. Really enjoy the discussions. Really wish to have more friends, especially from different Continet. Any of you from Europe and America? Can't wait to hear from you and exchange experiences because I've never been there :)
I'm from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Oh, if you're not familiar yet, for your information, Bali is a part of Indonesia. Yes, Bali, the island of Gods. Ring a bell?

I live in the US, the Northeastern part. The weather here is really hot right now, but soon winter will be here and then I'll be happy again to see the snow. Bali is supposed to be one of the most beautiful places on the earth! You must have been there before, I'm sure. I hope you enjoy your stay at mylot, make it a long one!

Yes, I have been in Bali several times. What about you?
Here is dry season now and will be rainy around next month. We have only two seasons here and no snow.
Hope I can visit US someday :)

I have never been out of the US. I have been to the state of Maine on my vacations. I stay near the ocean. I lived in Colorado for a little while a long time ago. I don't like to travel much. Most people I know like to travel. One of my nieces has been all over the place. Not long ago she went to Portugal, the Azores, I think. If I traveled I would like to go to Ireland. That's where my grandparents came from to the US. But I'm old now. And go to Maine less. Yes, you have made friends with an old lady! But I have some wisdom and that may help you in the future.

I like Italian food. But, some people said Italian food here are already adjusted to Indonesian taste. I wish I could travel to Italy someday and try the local food by myself :D

I'm from Pomona, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A., and I will say that it is pretty nice here. Most people here love to go to the beach, but some people love gardening, going to the mountains, working with animals, being religious, education, and just doing what they love to do. Some people here are always trying to get famous be it reality television, music, movies, writing, and doing anything that may get their name out there.
I have heard of Jakarta, Indonesia, but I have never been. It might be on my list of places to go to if I ever get around to traveling again.

A perfect mix of nature, good living and entertainment :)
So many Indonesian wish to travel to U.S.A, but it's quit far away and pretty expensive.

You will love the city
You must have an experience of INDIA too as it is the country of different cultures altogether in one country.

Here in Jakarta (the capital city of Indonesia), many Indian people live and work. They usually sell clothes in big modern market :)
When I travelled to Singapore, I met many Indian people also.
But, I've never been in India. Hope I could visit your country someday :)

Anyhow I am from the UK which most of the time is a decent place to live, I've heard good things about Indonesia do you like it there?

I like being here. Indonesia is a tropical country, crossed by the equator. We have two seasons: rainy season and dry season. Now is dry season. Rainy season usually started in October up to April. Indonesia is an archipelago and known for its beautiful islands. Bali, the island of gods, have many famous and beautiful beaches, Java consists of many majestic mountains and has Borobudur temple, one of seven wonders in the world. Sumatera known for its strong cultures. And many more. Please come to Indonesia, not just hear it, but see it, experience it :)

What about UK? In which part do you live? When I travelled to Singapore, I met a girl from Wales.

I'm from the Sunshine State of Florida. I would say that it's pretty nice here although there are no mountains. The beaches are nice, no snow and during winter is freezing. I once lived in The Philippines and I know that Indonesia is one of our neighboring country. I met an Indonesian girl here, and she's pretty nice.

I saw Florida in movies or news. Yes, you have beautiful beaches there :) We have beautiful beaches also in Bali. Have heard about Bali?
