Is it true that you can drink beer after you eat the durian?

I just watched TV and then it said you couldn't drink beer after you eat the durian. The worst situation is it can be deadly. I wonder whether this is true or it is just a rumor. There are many durians in the countries like Thailand etc. Is there such a rule there?

I think, both are high in protein and can be detrimental to the body. Too much protein can be toxic or can bring up high blood pressure and can be dangerous to anyone including people with other diseases. This will make things worse. Remember, too much of anything is bad in that note. Thanks
