Well being a nurse means that you tend to a lot of people and you do carry around a lot of stuff good thing we have lots of pockets to put our pens and thermometers but there are just some tools that have to be accessible to you when you are at your table and you cant just leave them lying around anywhere, so we have a pencil case or sometimes a pouch that has all our necessary items that we need like extra pens a small calculator for computing meds and and our stamper and all other sorts of small stuff, it is nice and tidy to have it. My own little mobile drawer.

Mobile pouch is necessary, even doctors carry their own. I used to work in the hospital, taking good care of the stuff, the preparation and after care of treatment regimen, dealing with the patient, the health staff, etc. But now, my horizon had changed as being a consultant. Thinking of going back of what I had used to do. I hope sooner or later.

i think that is a great idea. most nurses uniforms here where i am generally have a lot of pockets too and though i have never seen anyone carry around a pencil case, i am thinking why not. what ever works!
