TRIALS are design by GOD to draw us closer to HIM and build our character.. TEMPTATIONS are designed by the devil to draw us away from GOD and destroy our character.. TEMPTATION is not a sin but yielding TEMPTATION is a sin..

As we all are human beings we all have lot of dreams and desires in our life, some times we are tempted with some desires and do some unwanted things due to it. We have the ability to control our emotions and avoid this temptations. In our life we have both trials and temptations. Some times we are tempted with some good things and interested in doing it. There is nothing wrong in getting tempted with good things as we will get good benefits with it and our life will be improved by doing good things. If we are tempted with a bad thing, we must avoid it and over come from the unwanted feelings, since we don't get good things by doing the wrong work and our life will be spoiled with the evil activities. In short all the temptations are not bad, some temptations are good and we will get good from it. But if we know our desire is wrong and we will face issues with it, surely we must avoid the temptation and come out from that feeling, we have the ability to control our feelings and emotions as we are the boss to our self.

vidhyaprakash, no offense but your comments regarding about temptation makes me wonder. How can a temptation be good? are people tempted to do good? or is there any good temptation? Most people are tempted to do bad things that's why it's temptation and we are encourage to do good things. We'll perhaps I am just considering the fact that temptation is a negative word.

if you are impressed with a good thing and tempted to do it, then it will be good, why you see temptation as a negative word? We have the ability to see positives in negatives too, be optimist dear

looking at temptation as negative word doesn't mean that I'm a pessimistic., it's just that I have my own point of view and perspective towards the word., the word temptation to do good is not appropriate for me to use (just in my own point of view and opinion :) ), I think encourage to do good. Anyway we have different point of view and I respect it. If you choose to use the word tempted to do good then it's your freedom with regards to art of writing. Happy mylotting :)

I totally agree with your opinion kiking, yielding to the temptation makes someone commits a sin.I remember what my Bible School teacher told me, he said in his class, it is not a sin or a mistake if a bird is trying to perch on your head, what makes it a mistake is when you allowed it to nest on your head. Same thing with temptation to be tempted is not a sin, to yield to it that makes a sin.
