Ilegal DVD/VCD, simple, when you download musics and movies from the internet and sell it for money, it's illegal because you don't have the right to sell it. Downloading is not illegal but if you sell it, that's ilegal. Download ing is not ilegal specially when the source came from a website which they have right to sell, for example iTunes. That's how I understand the matter, if you download a movie, don't sell it. But if you ask, how if you downloaded a pirated one? I think in this case, the law needs to take down the sites or torrent that user can upload a video for sharing, some site not down because sharing is legal but the main thing is, Music/Movie company can deal with those website by requesting to authority to close those sites because of they low earnings. Sharing becomes ilegal for some sites because of complains, and I think now, there's a clearer law of copyrights and seller rights. Sharing site said, it's like when you bought a C/DVD, then you share it with your friends by borrowing, so something like that, but if you burned and copy the DVD and sell it, that's ilegal, because you don't have rights to distribute it or manufacture it to another copy. HAve a great day!

When you do not have the copyrights for the content of the VCD or DVD you call it as illegal. Today almost all the videos and musics are released like this and the original creator is not profited much! Some films had high-tech instruments and camera reals from which we cannot take a blue print to create illegal VCD and DVD. But still I find many people use it for the same films!

Not everything that you can download for free on the Internet are legal. Illegal copies of VCDs and DVDs can be downloaded from the Internet. It is considered illegal when the copy you have does not have the proper DRM on it, or the DRM you have is not for you. It is illegal because the original owner has a copyright to the file and you possesed the file without the owner's permission. Usually the permission entails BUYING a copy from legit resellers or resellers that the owner has approved or signed a contract with - allowing the reseller to sell

An illegal DVD is when you take a DVD of a movie or TV show and you make a copy of it and you try to sell it to make a profit off it.

Hi, In the old days of movie production, making a copy of the original reel requires permission from the producer of the film which entails payment of a certain amount. Just like using a printed material, an idea being incorporated into one's own as in research. When the technology of making copies of anything became public, things went haywire. It all started with the photocopier, then the cassette recorder to the rewritable disk incorporated into compact gadgets that can be carried around. Then came the internet, and things went into hyperspace.

I think 3 of them are illegal ones. As long as you don't have a formal permission to copy from the movie company it would be an illegal one.

That is the most difficult problem done by the syndicate to sell illegal items that covers the movie industry, the music industry and even the games industry. These fakers are already arrested many times by authorities, yet they are more aggressive to make more fake copies, not anymore afraid to be arrested again even if the penalties are already more stiffer than before. These people make a big business out of these scenario, because whenever they are arrested somebody would release them immediately from prison and their business would be running again and again. If government could make another stiffer law to make a maker,a seller and anyone selling such illegal items without bail with the penalty of life imprisonment,I think they would think and rethink what they could do with their items.

it means if you are copying contents or trying to copy from internet illegally withouy any copyrights, that is abolished and if you sell to public that is illegal ,so the copyright infringement suit will be followed.so we have to follow the rules always
