As a parent we always have to keep our promises. No matter what it takes. But what if children don't keep theirs? How would you react if your child didn't keep his or her promise? Does he or she need any disciplinary action or just ignore it. It's quite hard to be a parent. Happy myLotting everyone.

If the children won't keep their promise, i think its better to talk to them first and let know how that keeping and doing their promises is very important. Warn them that tge next time they won't keep their promise they will have to face its consequences. I agree with you, its very hard to be a parent. Everything should be balanced to raise a good people.

They should be reprimanded. They should be taught a lesson that making promises is not a game or a joke. It's something that should be taken seriously. I would ground my son or remove any privileges. That case he would be aware that when he makes a promise, he should keep it. I don't like promises and I hardly make one.

angelkarah what is the age of the children? If they are below 14/15 then no point in getting anger over them. If they are more than 15 then we can advise them, correct them.
