My foot

Hey there everyone. I play football in our garden with my siblings sometimes. I like passing the ball and taking free-kicks. Since i started back on 2010 I used my right foot for almost everything and my left foot was just something for running. Sometimes I tried practicing my left foot but I never really used to so well. Then suddenly when my right shoe got destroyed I decided to practice with my left foot, and it was easy! So I kept on using my left foot for a while. When my right shoe was fixed I started using my right foot again but I found it hard. I practiced my right foot again but I realized that my right footed free kicks weren't as accurate as my left foot. So I decided to take free kicks and penalties with my left foot. But on normal play and passing I'm much better with my right! Can somebody please tell me a way to find out which foot is my stronger foot? Is it the same with the hands or not, because I'm right handed but my left foot is much better at free kicks than my right!

don`t worry.. as long as your foot is normally, why you should worry?? you still can play football, you can use both of your foot, and it is the advantages in your performance.. as amateur goalkeeper, iam more scared with the player who have a strong left foot..Their shoot is unpredictable..it is rare someone is good at their left foot.. You should be proud of your ability..both of your foot can be used as good as...

As a goalkeeper, do you prefer to dive to the left or right? Do you kick your ball more with your right foot or your left? Who is your favorite goalkeeper?

i admire all goalkeeper.. every of them have a unique way for saving ball, respond the threat or pressure from opponent, think quickly, have a ability for one on one with opponent.. iam right foot footballer.. i really like the body of Angelo Peruzzi (maybe because my body is similar with him)..iam more fat (my friend say) but it did not make me not active..i can close my shortcoming with my respond, think quickly and command my defender..maybe because before the game, it is important for me, knowing the habit of my defender...My best partner is good defender, and the bad partner the defender who did not understand my command.. I think Sergio Goycoche (argentina goalkeeper in World cup 1990) is my first favourite of goalkeeper.. But now i think Gianluigi Buffon and Iker Casillas are the best goalkeeper..they have complete ability to be number one in their country and club...

I think that's how we terbiasan and feel the power of our own feet. function of the hands and feet are different. I write with my right hand because it's easy and it's because I'm used too. My Right leg kick with a more powerful, indeed my left foot I can use but it is not as strong as the right leg.

it all depends on your confidence and how well you train your feet over a long period of time and we must keep experiencing with it and try to take shots with it and i am sure in most case you will find your left foot strongest since i found it that way

I think it is just how you feel. I can't kick with my left foot. so it is like hands. Some write with right and some comfortable with left. that is the mechanics about the foot as well. So suggest that your left foot is stronger and you should use it to play football. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Just continue with your practice and try using your both legs alternately then you will come to know that both of your legs are just perfect to kick, pass and juggle the ball. Since you said that after you left the right foot you used left foot and then when tried right again you were not feeling it well then you just have to take it to next level with your feeling of what you have learned.
