Early this morning I had my seminar class and the lectured topic is about structure of peace. The invited guest mention that peace should start within our hearts. She also made mention about the phrase that really stuck me,,People really love to live that's why we do everything to make our love ones live a little bit longer even if they are in critical stage, but we are really afraid of death. How come, why we are treating death as a scariest thing to happen?

In general people are very happy in the land of the living. When I get older, I pefer for my family to let me go. Especially if I cant do much or if I am on a machine. That is no life to live. I know however that its very very hard to say goodbye forever to our loved ones. I kinda feel as if its a bit selfish to keep someone alive that cant really live anymore. Now if its a child or someone young that would be very hard because you would always have that hope that they would bounce back and in some cases they do. I used to be terrified of dying. I still am really, but more for the sake of my children. I am center in my husbands life and theirs. But I understand that everyone has to eventually pass on. I just hope that when my time comes my family will focus more on the life that I lived and the good times that we all shared.
