Fake FRIENDS!

Fake friends are a term used to describe fair-weather or selfish friends. True friends are like diamonds (precious and rare), while fake friends are like autumn leaves found everywhere. A faithful friend is the medicine of life. Friends are rightly called an alter ego and they are perhaps those people with whom we can share our joys and sorrows. Adversity is the litmus test of any friendship.
Fake friends are those who deceive us and break our trust somewhere down the line. They talk behind our back rather than talking face to face with us. In times of adversity, they desert others and leave them in a lurch. One should be careful while choosing friends and keep such fake friends at arm's length. Joan Jett had once rightly remarked, "You got nothing to lose. You don't lose when you lose fake friends." It is always good to keep fake or fair-weather friends at arm's length. Remember, a man is known by the company he keeps.

Fake friends are only visible during good times, while true friends, even though how far they may be, will always find time to be with you in times of distress. Time and distance are irrelevant when true friends are needed.

I have a lot of them when I was on my college days. They are so harmful. They can mess you up so bad because you trust them. It is so hurtful to find out that they never real when vice versa, you had been so good to them. They will talk about you all the time, but when you are not around. They will secretly pull you down. I don't know why they will do that but as time goes by I realized one thing. It's that you're so good which they envy.

This is the world of opportunist and as you said all the friends that comes in our life are mostly the best friends but there may be some who are not. Such people do comes in our life in form of friends but later when we realized that they are not worth as friends we must try to keep them away from us.

yes, fake people are found everywhere, we should be fortunate to meet good friends, not everyone , has this atleast i did find any such friend , in my life till today..thanks for the beautiful explanation

I could not agree more. I am so thankful that I have so many true friends. I consider myself lucky to have those people who truly care for me. I do think that there are people who have a not-so-good-attitude but if you show them respect, care, and love, they will show you more of those too. I believe that everyone has a soft spot. When you are able to touch that soft spot in an individual, you will be able to know the real person inside him. Let us not judge anyone by one mistake that a person has done. Those people that you consider as fake friends may be true friends to others.
