I'm trying to make some melody or tunes

I wonder how composers and musicians able to produce beautiful melodies and composition. It's very hard for me to make some composition or come up with some interesting melody. I'm trying to sing now and make up my own lyrics and melody. But it's not good at all. It sounds like I'm just making melody similar to other songs. I know its not easy to make some melodies or tunes that are new.

If you are really trying to make your own composition or you tune first of free your mind from all the tensions and all your problems. Keep thinking and try to go to your past. You will find some tunes in your life itself. I hope you can
