i am glad that i was able to disable the touchpad of my laptop

i had been planning to do this but i was not able to do it. so it was such a big hassle when my hands touch the touchpad when i am typing. as it would make the page to go back or go to another website. that is why , i am just glad to have it disable. as sometimes i would lose what i am typing because of the touchpad. the touchpad is not that useful for me. better for me to use the mouse.

It happened to me too, but i've tried linux after a friend told me, and discovered a useful feature that disables your touchpad when you plug a mouse. This can be turned off if you want. And also many features like scrooling and multitouch interface.

It seems Linux a very good operating system. But I don't know how to install that though. I would like to check out more online about this

That's nice to have it for free. Why is it free anyway. I would install that on my desktop so that i would have experience about Linux.

It's easier than windows. And it's free. Here is a program that makes a bootable stik: www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ . If you have a free stik instal it and will make a bootable stickk and you can also choose what linux to put on it, and will download that version automatic if you don't have it.
....no way could I get used to it. I want my mouse until they perfect voice commands..

That's true. I would just use the mouse as it's more enjoyable to make use of mouse at home.

I am so happy for you. i also have this trouble when i am using my laptop. i don't have the information about disable touchpad. now i will do this to my laptop also.

I was able to disabled it but when I turned on the computer once again that it's again working so I would need to disable it once again.
