Who should bring most of the money in the family?

The answer I have in mind is always the father. As a father and the man of the family,father should work hard for his family. But that depends on the situation, because some women are working for the family and sometimes they go to other countries just to make money for the family.In my family, my father works for us and my mother also have a business.

My husband earn more than me when I was working but we usually put together our salary and only get some money that we need for personal use. I think a father or mother both can able to bring most in the family as long as they helping each other without comparison and providing everything they need in their family.
