What you love/hate about being the Youngest/Middle/Oldest Child

Myself, I come from a family where I am the youngest child and for the most part I loved it! I can admit to getting my way a lot of the time and getting pretty much anything I wanted or asked for. I suppose one thing I didn't like was being left out of certain events that my sisters would attend due to it not being age appropriate for myself. What about you guys? Thanks for sharing.

I am a younger sister and I have one sister five years older than me. I think five years is too large a gap between us siblings. I believe two years gap would have been better and three years gap would be acceptable too. I didn't like my sister being old enough but I wasn't. She would hold my coat's hood and lead me around. I didn't like my sister leaving secondary school as soon as I began it. When I grew up and was a teenager people meeting me and my sister thought I was the older one. My sister was born in the late 1960s and I was born in the early 1970s so we were born in different decades. Now I have my own family I did poorly with the age gap to begin with. My oldest son is seventeen years old, my disabled son is five years old and my daughter is three years old. So a twelve year gap is a lot for my two sons. I did much better with a two year gap between my younger son and my daughter.

I am the youngest child with three older sisters. I loved that I started doing things sooner than they did. Things like getting a cell phone sooner or dating sooner. The bad part was when I was little I would want to do the things my sisters did(I'm a guy). They would basically torture me by painting my nails and dressing me up knowing I couldn't do anything about it. Oh the look on my dad's face when he would get home.
