When the truth hurts

Truth is never wrong, but the purpose or motive for telling the truth needs to be considered. Is the purpose of telling the truth to hurt or to help others? It makes a difference how the truth is told, for words however truthful, can bring such offense that the damage done may offset the intended good. But then again, our choices can be complicated.

The truth hurts most of the time people use it to hurt other people. They don't have to think of something hurtful, just the truth is enough to get the job done. Although you can go the extra mile by bending it, and adding lies to them to make it hurt more.

It all depend on the situation , the truth is not always best . Say you want to scare someone from going to a certain place you may tell a lie to convince them that that is not a good place . The truth is good when you tell them so they wont make a fool.
