Hello friends,
I love mylot. I use it to get advice, talk about anything and everything. Well today I just want to vent. Yesterday was my birthday and I am not into doing a big party or anything like that, I just wanted to see my family. I like just having dinner and cake with my hubby and kids, instead my sister had to call and complain to me. I ended up spending almost 6 hours at the hospital, then when I got home my husband was called into work so we couldn't do anything. It ended up being just another day. The worst part of it all is that this was the last day all my kids will be with me. My daughter leaves to go live with her dad :( Thanks for reading.

I have had many more birthdays than you and indeed some were memorable because they were fun while others were because something dreadful happened.
Try to stay positive and think of the good things that you have and focus on those.
Next year when your birthday comes round, I hope it will be much better than this one for you and belated birthday wishes

I wanted to ask how things were at the hospital but I feared that, if things had gone badly, it might have added more negativity. Thank yo for raising it and there you have it - you definately have a lot to be positive about!

Thank you for taking the time to read my venting. It helps me feel better knowing that people on here are so wonderful.I really appreciate that you guys are so great. I will look on the up side of things, everything was alright at the hospital so that is the blessing I will take.

Omg look at you. All the while you were having a bad day, you were helping me feel better on your birthday!You are a very considerate person. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Maybe your husband will have something special to make up for it or like you said to me ... treat yourself to some special. I hope you feel better. Happy belated birthday!

i am sad to read that your birthday did not turn up the way you wanted it to be. instead, it became just another day. i know that we only celebrate our birthday once a year. that's why we have the whole year looking forward to it. and then when it comes, it just becomes another day that passes uneventful. i hope something must have been in your heart.

I am so sorry you did not have a good birthday. Happy late Birthday! I hate when things happen like this on special days. I hope you will feel better soon. Our birthday's should be special and a good time. =( I hope your birthday next year will be sooooo much better for you!

dont worry there is always a next birthday ,hope you have a nice time next time,its all about being patient and just be calm ,i have got in this situation many a times too
