i could not listen any sound in my system

hi mylot friends,
when i am using my desktop computer in my native place,i am listening music,movies and film songs through two speakers, after coming to Hyderabad i am failed to connect my speakers to my system,even have connected the speakers, the sound is not coming,i do not know the cause and a known person also could not connect the speakers,is there any software to connect my speakers to my system or is there any system to listen the music without attaching speakers to the system,if any one know about this guide me so that i may view movies, listen music ,have a nice day.

hi bhanusb,
thanks for the response, so to call a computer mechanic is compulsory,if the problem with speakers, how can i know it is system problem or speakers problem,i can secure speakers at four hundred rupees, i do not know how much the computer mechanic asks to connect my speakers,any how i have to try to call the mechanic,have a nice day.
