We come across many sites which promise big things and the people work on them with great zeal and then at the end they find that the site is not going to pay. Such sites most intentionally do this to cheat people and to earn money without paying anything. It is easy for such sites as people on internet do not realize that the site is a scam untill the promissed payment is delayed and then at the end not paid atall. So it becomes very much advisable that we should check if the site is legit or not. How do you check if the site is legit, if it is paying or not? Please share different ways to check it. To start with, I knew few like..... ask opinion of your friends especially on the sites like MyLot, do google search....please add your ideas. Thanks.

I have been working online for years now and have a backbone of legit sites. I promote those sites among my friends here with whom I exchange links so we both get a free, direct referral and can cashout sooner. I always offer them sites that have paid me. If they haven`t but have paid a friend, I tell them it`s a risk. I accept whatever they give me in exchange and I`m willing to work there even if sometimes they turn into scams. Right now, I don`t sign up for free as I have enough sites to make my $100 a month. But I exchange as some of the new sites I`m offered turn into scams.

Well, that is good idea. Although it looks like time taking process but I think that you are following a safe route. If the sites offered by your friends fail to pay, then also as exchange of referrals, you have some referral earning as your site is really paying. Making 100$ a month should be quite a good amount. Thanks for the response and have a nice time...!

I also faced many fake websites, even more than what you may have faced. I always went to big $$$ sites (well I don't know that they pays or not) where I wasted for 1 year. When I reach payout either they delete account or increase cash out limit. But now I do what the above response like describes and it helps me a lot. Now I don't have to search legit websites I just refer to these websites to search for the good one than trying out and wasting my whole year again on those scams.

That is right. If you have opinion of your good friend about the site and if he says that the site is legit, it is worth believing. You can stay away from scams by that way. However, in this case, it is necessary to find good loyal friends who give us really good advise instead of just suggesting us to get some referrals.

One way to test is the low payout. Multitasking may only slightly increase the low earnings or a steady inflow of new referrals. The problem is that when they realize the amount of referrals earnings they stop being active. Buying referrals in my case, always ended up with lower earnings and losses.

Buying referrals is no going to serve our purpose of earning good amount. In fact it is of little help even on legit site. One may buy referrals on some legit site by paying good amount and then if they do not remain active, then the problem starts. One cannot force the referrals to remain active and so one looses hard earned money. Regarding payouts, it is alright if it is little high, but if it is too high as compared to your daily earning then you should be careful.

I must admit that almost all sites I have written content online for have paid me. I have not had any problem till date with any website that has not paid me. However, before I join any particular site I read a lot of reviews about them and once I feel like joining them I just do so. Thanks for starting a nice discussion.
