Samsung to pay a billion dollar to apple for patent infrigement

We all know about the long running battle between the best smartphone makers samsung and apple. But recently the verdict was that both have infringe a patent. But samsung has more damages done to apple that's why they have to pay a billion dollar to apple for copying the rectangular smartphone design and other patents. My reaction over this is that this is just right as based on the evidence submitted to apple, samsung's design was really a knock off. But I think this is what made Samsung a successful smartphone maker. Samsung is the best already in making smartphones. With the Samsung S3, samsung is now better than iphone. This is I think the rise of samsung from the smartphone market. Apple should really be alarmed by this. Because as time pass by, apple iphones are starting to be boring, as they is no new things introduced. They are just the same plain old swipe to unlock. Im an apple fan actually.
