Sleep is important to have our body wake up refreshed or rested but some people find it hard to get their sleep no matter how tired they are or they have insomnia. There are lots of things that you can do just to get your sleep. Some people take sleeping pills, counting sheep(funny but maybe it could help), or some watch televisions until they are sleepy, reading a book or like my mom that plays with her ipad then when she fell asleep her ipad fell at her face then she woke up again because of that. But seriously if you have any problems in sleeping you should avoid naps and caffeine then make your room quiet, dark and cool to make you sleep well. How about you guys, what do you do when you cannot sleep?

Well I have tried sleeping pills but my body gets used to them very quickly. So I figured I would try reading and found that was the best remedy for me. Because within 2 or 5 pages of the book I pass right out.

It actually depends on whether I want to sleep or not. If I badly want and need to sleep but I can't, I read a really boring book or watch an equally boring movie or show and I do it while I'm lying on my bed or in the couch or wherever I'm comfortable. So far, listening to some instrumental music while I lay in bed works best for me. And I'm one of those people who are afraid of sleeping in the dark so turning the lights off won't really help me get some sleep. But there are also times that I'm perfectly okay that I can't sleep. During these times, I opt to write. I either work on my blog or add a few pages to my manuscript. Sometimes, I read a book that I know I can't let go of until I reach the last page.
