uncomfortable wearing make up

I'm not comfortable in wearing some make up. I guess it's good to put some to accent our beauty but I guess I'm not good in applying. I guess I have to learn how to put on make up first. Applying eyeliner is the most diffcult one for me. Putting some blush on and eyeshadow is just a piece of cake. It's difficult to be a woman. We have to learn a lot. LOL. Feel free to share your thoughts about make up. Happy myLotting.

Hi friend, women's already have natural beauty, why are you going with this kind of artificial things to increase your beauty as well as worrying a lot about uncomfortable with this kind of things? if you are not uncomfortable just leave them and care about your natural beauty. A lot of natural things are available to increase your beauty, use them and get benefits, it is not difficult to be a woman if you avoid this kind of unwanted things in your life

I agree with Juliyan23, woman has their own reason wearing makeup, some apply makeup to look fresh at work, like bank teller or sales promotion girl they apply makeup so they will look fresh all the time. For me, I have an ugly scar on my face i got from my accident, I use makeup like concealer, BB cream, etc to cover the scar, applying eyeliners and eyeshadow so it can distract people's attention not looking at my scar. Lol I dont believe in saying that women who wear makeup arent proud of natural beauty.

Umm.. I think she was reffering to uncomfortable to apply some makes up . Maybe she has't gotten used to apply it so she finds it bit difficult to do. Well, women is basically beauty creature. Some of them apply make up just to keep looking fresh and good looking . I saw many beauty girls looked dull - it was pointless if the beautyness wasn't cared properly. But some of them apply too much make up as they could handle at that situation - it makes people feel uncomfortable to see them instead of being stunned by the appearance :) I think it is just about how we do keep balance our beautyness - and we will talk about caring our body & soul :)

I love makeup. Once I got a clue on how to make it work for me, I became more confident with applying it as well as being confident in how I looked. It has taken me years to discover tried and true makeup techniques. There are professionals that can get you started. A cosmetics counter is a good place to go and reading magazines that offer tips is a good idea. Makeup is also changing. It is becoming higher in quality and revealing even more of the beauty of its users. It truly is a fun time to wear makeup. Hopefully, makeup will be a good time for you as well.

Hello to you Angel Karah. I think I'm also not that good at applying some cosmetics on my face. I really want to be good at it so I just tried my best to learn. I buy some of the cosmetics I like and try to apply them properly. Before, when I needed to go somewhere important or there were some events that I would need to attend to, I used to ask my mother or sister to apply some make up on my face. I think I liked the way I looked those times. I told myself that they won't always be beside me to apply some make up for me so I decided to learn how to do it by myself. Nowadays, I think the way I apply make up is a lot better than before. Just like you, it's still a bit hard for me to put on eyeliner but I'm really doing my best to learn. I just follow some of the steps and tips I learn in the videos I watched on how to properly apply some eyeliner. I think nowadays, I love seeing my face in the mirror with make up. In my case, I could say that I 'm more comfortable wearing make up right now. I'm more confident when I have some things applied on my face. I feel like a woman if I'm wearing some make up. Just feel free putting on some things to your pretty face too. When something is a bit difficult to apply, just practice doing it over and over again until you would already improve. Don't be afraid to learn. Just learn how to take control of your hands while applying some cosmetics on your face and everything will turn out fine. Just feel comfortable wearing some make up. As long as your skin isn't irritated, just enjoy wearing some. I agree with what you've said, it's really difficult to be a woman. In order for us to be more beautiful, we must really learn a lot of things to

Oh, thanks Ladybugs. I guess I need to be more confident too. I don't want to bother some people to put some make upon my face. LOL. It makes me feel more awkward because I'm already old and I still don't know how to apply. LOL. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

I hate wearing makeup. Wearing lipstick is my least favorite. I only wear makeup on special occasions. Wearing makeup makes me feel really uncomfortable.

Hi MandaLee and Juliyan23. I also wear lipstick. Only lipstick. I can't go out of the house without wearing some lipstick like you Juliyan23. My lips aren't that kissable lips. LOL. I'm not smoking so I wonder about my lip color why aren't they pink. Haha. Happy mylotting.

Hi MandaLee.. I am like you - I only apply one swap of lipstick just to make my face brighter (I will look bit pale and so dull without my lipstick) since I have a bad dark color lips (I used to be an active smoker a couple years ago)

If you want to put an eyeliner on your lids, try the liquid eyeliner. It glides beautifully at the rim most part of the eyelid. Then, fan it so it would quickly dry. For the lower lid, try the smudge proof pencil eyeliner. Smudge it a little so it will appear natural. Good luck friend.

Hi Juliyan23, oh. You gave me some more ideas. I will remember them too. I hope one day I'll be confident in putting on make up. LOL. I guess, it's just a matter of mastering it. Haha. I have to buy good cosmetics and I'll study the contour of my face to have a better result. Happy mylotting.

Umm.. actually HEAVEN YES! lol Liquid eyeliner is easily faded - moreove if you haven't gotten used to apply it . But the color is bold and pretty than the cream or pencil ones. I used to apply pencil eyeliner for the first time ,actually. My recommeded brands for pencil eyeliner is 1. Urban Decay Zero (the color is so great , but it doesn't last long )- or 2.The Face Shop Long lasting pencil eyeliner (It lasts a whole day! But doesn't have a bold color) The main key of applying eyeliner actually is the brush - if the brush is comfortable to be used than you could easily apply it well.

Similar situtaion I have back when I was just starting to learn the basics of make-up. I also watch on youtube for tutorials like Juliyan23 mentioned, and from that I have learned how to put on make-ups already. I just love how Koreans look when they have their make-ups on like Sandara who represents in "EtudeHouse".

Yes, I guess we have to learn more about putting on make up. It takes time to put some so the result should be good enough. If the result is bad, our effort is useless. We have to remove and put some again. It takes more time. Happy mylotting.

I used to feel the same way about makeups. Actually until now especially too much makeup. But over the years I've learned the basics. I just think of my face as the canvass and makeup as the paint. Then I try to mix and match colors and shades to enhance my features, not to hide them or to make me look like I'm acting on a stage play. Don't fret, this should be fun to play with makeup. Just be sure to get the ones that don't make your face break out or something.

Oh, that's a great idea. I'll just have to be confident in putting on some make up. I'll think of my face as a canvas and the make up as the paint the next time I'll put on make up. Happy mylotting.

Hi there! Don't feel bad if u are not comfortable to put some make up it's not matter at all as long as you will just fix yourself well wearing some good outfit, it's not only make up that can make woman pretty, just have some of it but you don't have to punish yourself about this make up things, just be yourself and ofcourse be a pretty lady just I have friend she's not putting make up at all but still she's have that look that really caught other attention , so what Im trying to emphasize is that you don't have too puts all things to you head like make up things you are concern.being a woman is definitely good! I always believe simplicity is more better!

Yes, simplicity is beauty. Putting a little make up is better than putting on too much make up. I agree with your comment. Make up doesn't matter that much. We can live without it. We just have to look presentable. Happy mylotting.

I always ask youtube for giving me a help on tutorial of make up =) Yeah, applying eyeliner is a hard to do job. I find that hard to make the exact same shape to both of my eyes - I always find my right eyeliner shaped longer than the left one. lol .. I always using the body shop liquid eyeliner - it has a great small brush that let me create a sharp point , and the color is so bold which I really need , and it is waterproof but it easily removed by rubbing it softly .

Well,it is hard to be a girl, can't doubt that.Or at least I think so,I'm not a girl. I like seeing girls without makeup. They look natural to me.I don't quite like seeing girls with tons of makeup all over their face.It looks so weird to see those girls with a lot of layers on their face.If they cry or get wet,all the work is gone.

Yes, you are right. It takes time to put some make up but when we cry or get wet, it'll just be destroyed. LOL. You are like my husband, too. Fanatic of natural beauty. Happy mylotting.
