Kelly Ripa, Roise Odonnell and Clay Akin

I think Kelly was right in being upset. I hate if anyone covers my mouth even my own kids and they know how I hate that. It just bugs me and it is rude. But Rosie had no business putting her two cents in but as of late that is all she seems to be doing. She things when anything goes wrong it has to be because she's gay or that the person is homophobic which is ridiculous. That is the last thing Kelly is and she was right to put Rosie the big mouth in her place.

I think it was just plain rude to cover her mouth with his hand in particular since he had been shaking many hands before. Germs are transmitted by hands. Flu season is upon us and the best way to prevent it is frequent handwashing. I do not think Kelly Ripa's comment was homophobic. She was just annoyed. As you say Clay should just apologize for his thoughlessness and - end of discussion-
