Have you ever ask your mom and dad on how did they come up with your name? My mom told me that when I am still at her womb, she already thought of a name to be given for a baby girl and that is Vanessa. I also found out from the Meaning of Baby Names that my name means butterfly.
How about you? How did your parents come up with your name? Did you know the meaning of your name? If not, maybe I can look it up for you =D

This one's a nice topic to discuss! My Mom told me that she named me after a music artist here in our country named Francis Magalona. That's why I am named Carl Francis, we also share the same nickname which is Kiko. I would appreciate if you can give me the meaning of my name, thank you!

Thanks a lot! I will never have any idea of thinking what my name means if not for you. I have a nice meaning on name so I guess I have to live with that. I have to portray what my name means. Thanks again, butterfly!

My mom told me that when she wanted to first name me Marie, and she had stuck to that until my aunt had suggested that my name be Trisha. So then my mom stated that she had liked that name and decided to call me that. Which I found out that my name is a variant of the name Patricia and also my name would mean noble; patrician.

A very nice meaning you got there for your name. I did a little search too, and found out this-- Etymology: Means "revelation" in Indonesian.

Mom told me that she named me after her bestfriend's name. Mom just love their friendship so much that she want always to remember her bestfriend through me. Isn't that quite funny ?

yeah! actually they always think that i'll be a scientist someday you know so, they give me a long name ( laishram) my sirname (bidyananda) my name (singh).And they told me that bidyananda means master of knowledge. But i turn into something they never excepted that is rock n roll...

My name Melissa was given to me by my father. I also made a research about it and found that my name means " A Bee" haha
