Without you knowing, a dog with menacing teeth and red-hot eyes growls, approaches and lungs at you. If ever this incident has happened to you, described candidly what happened to you. What did you do?

Dog - What if it bite you?
My goodness! It has not happened to me yet. I don't know what will I do maybe I'd run as fast as I could but surely this dog runs faster than I do so he could probably reach me and devour me. Oh my God that would be scary! Maybe I'd just pick up anything like a stick or stone whichever is available to protect myself. I really don't want to be in that situation. I remembered a little girl and her Mom that I saw in the hospital sometime in December 2010. They were badly bitten by a Rottweiler dog. This dog was able to get out of his master's fenced premise then ran through the road of the village. It so happened that a little girl together with her Mom were strolling and so this Rottweiler came and attacked the two. First the little girl, so the mother tried to protect but she was of course overpowered. Both of them were badly bitten in different parts of the body before they were rescued. So they were brought to the hospital for treatment and this was where I met them. I could not really imagine if I were in that kind of situation. I wish I won't ever, ever experience that. I don't have that sharp teeth to bite that dog back.

Nice little pooch and does not really hurt. I like small varieties of dogs but never ever the big, scary ones like Rottweiler. If anyone would keep one, they should be responsible enough to make sure it can't hurt innocent ones.

Hi, salonga! Thank you for presenting a well-documented sad tale of that unfortunate twosome, girl and mother, who became the wrong victim of that hapless dog. It's owner ought to answer for the dog's misdeed.

that story is touching to me, and sad that some rottweilers can do this. i like the photo you put with the post, a nice little pooch seems like it couldnt hurt anyone i have a small dog and she can definitely out run me but if she got really mad somehow she'd only bite my ankles and legs..

when i was around 11 years old, there was a story which i believe was true as the parents talked about it, that a young boy was bitten in the face by a dog on my street. naturally my parents pointed out that dog it was at the end of the street across from my best friends house. i continued to play down the road at my friends we were drawing with chalk and playing hopscotch in the street when the dog came running at me. he chased me down the road i ran as fast as i ever could (i lived at the other end of the street) he chased me all the way up my driveway and into my backyard where i bolted for the back door i knew was open. it was incredibly scary for me at the time, thinking now he may have thought to play with me but the owner should have intervened. though i didnt live on a very good street..or town

To have been chased by a dog is quite a scary experience. I remember one time when I first donned a long pants. Perhaps the dog didn't appreciate my posture. I ran with all my mite and panted with breath coming very fast one after the other. It did elicit laughter but the experience wasn't to be repeated.

yes it happened to me when I was a kid. We used to go to my granny's house and the road was in the mountains and we had walk through the tracks. It was like tracking. I loved climbing those mountains to reach to granny. But on the way, there were some houses and one house had a fierce dog. One day while we were on the way, the dog was unleashed and came running towards us. My dad and others stopped, but I got so scared that I started to run. Oh God i tumbled and rolled down the hill to the dog owners house and thank god they came out in time because the dog was after me. It happened in a flash of time my parents were shocked and so was I in shock. I was crying on top on my voice. God, I will never forget this. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi, riyauro! Your scene with the dog was quite shocking. It indeed was unforgettable since it happened when you were still a kid. Have you forgotten your phobia of the dog?

I don't run, if you do the dog will run after you. Then, he happens to catch you, a flesh of blood runs to your body and worried for the rabies will set in.

But to stay and not run will not hold water for trained army dogs. The more they'll bite you to pieces if you'll not do something.

it happened to me once when i walked to my district office to finish some errand and there happened to have a big ol' dog lying down on the floor and i didn't think she would be aggressive or she misunderstood that i'd hurt her.. so she bit me on my left leg but fortunately i was on my jeans that day !

It's so fortunate of you to have worn a jeans. Did the bite got through your skin's left leg?
